Where I work

Fully remote, with clients across the United Kingdom. Records are shared securely and meetings are held by video or telephone, whichever you prefer. Where it works logistically, I am always happy to meet in person.

Before we speak

There is no script

You talk, I listen, and I ask about the things that matter. Bring your last set of accounts if you have them, though it is not required, and bring the question you have been meaning to ask someone.

By the end you will have honest answers about where you stand and what your obligations actually are, whether or not you decide to work with me. If you are already well served elsewhere, I will tell you so.

Emails are read and answered by me, not by an assistant or an automated system. If you are approaching a filing deadline and it is urgent, say so in the subject line and it moves to the top.

Taking on a new client requires identity verification and standard anti-money laundering checks before work can begin. This is a legal requirement for every supervised accountancy practice, not a formality of mine, and I will tell you exactly what is needed and why.
