The short version
I am Daneon, founder of DF Accounting Ltd. After more than 20 years working across both the public and private sectors, I built this firm to do things differently, leaving you with financial clarity and understanding of what your numbers mean for your business.
That is the standard, every time.
My background is not confined to accounting practice. I have worked in healthcare, education, property and construction, which means I have sat on the other side of the desk and inside organisations, watching decisions get made on figures nobody had properly explained. Compliance was always met, but clarity almost never was.
A director who has built a business over fifteen years may still have never had a set of accounts walked through with them line by line. That is not a failing on their part, but it is a gap that is entirely fixable.
Remotely, across the UK, on a fixed fee agreed before anything begins. Records are kept current rather than reconstructed in a panic at year end, deadlines are tracked on my side rather than yours, and nothing is filed until it is right.
The work runs on established, well supported software that is acceptable to HMRC for all digital submissions, rather than whatever is newest, because your records need to still make sense in six years, not just this quarter.
Regulated and authorised
DF Accounting Ltd is supervised by HMRC as an Accountancy Service Provider for Anti-Money Laundering purposes, and is registered with Companies House as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider.
In practice that means two things for you. First, the practice handling your figures is monitored against a legal standard, and the identity checks carried out before taking you on are a requirement rather than a formality of mine. Second, I am authorised to verify identities on behalf of Companies House.
Regulation is not paperwork for its own sake. It is the reason you can check my standing rather than take my word for it.

What you can expect
You should not need an accounting degree to understand your own business. Every figure explained in language you would use yourself, and no question treated as a silly one.
Your filing dates are tracked by me, not left to you to remember. If something is at risk, you hear it from me early, never from a penalty notice.
You will know what the figures mean, not simply that they were submitted on time. Every number walked through in language you would use yourself.
