Running a limited company comes with a quiet stream of statutory admin that has nothing to do with how well the business is actually doing. Confirmation statements, director changes, registrations, deadlines that sit on a calendar somewhere and matter enormously the one time they get missed. I handle all of it, so it never lands on your desk as a surprise.
What this covers
As an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) with Companies House, I can verify director and PSC identities on your behalf, which is now part of keeping a company's filings valid. Beyond that, this service covers the full range of statutory work a company generates over its life:
- Companies House identity verification for directors, PSCs and the company itself
- Confirmation Statements (CS01), filed on time, every time
- Company incorporation and registration for new businesses
- Director, secretary and PSC changes as your business grows or changes
- Registered office and accounting reference date changes
- Corporation Tax and VAT registrations
- Self Assessment registration and agent authorisation, so I can deal with HMRC directly
- Dormant company accounts for companies not currently trading
- Voluntary strike-off and dissolution, handled properly when a company reaches the end of its life
Who needs this
Most limited company directors, at some point. New companies need incorporation and registration done right from day one, so the right structure and registrations are in place before trading starts. Established companies need their confirmation statement filed within 14 days of the review period ending, every year, without fail, plus prompt updates whenever a director joins, leaves, or PSC details change. Companies winding down need a proper strike-off, not a company quietly left to lapse.
What good compliance looks like
Done properly, statutory filing is boring. Deadlines are tracked before they're close, filings go in early, and you're told what's happened rather than having to ask. Done badly, it looks like a confirmation statement filed in the last days of its 14-day window, or worse, missed entirely, which Companies House can treat as grounds to strike the company off the register. It looks like a PSC change that never got recorded, or an identity verification requirement that catches you out because nobody flagged it in time. None of this tends to feel urgent, until the one week it very much is.
How this fits with the Clarity Package
Clients on the Clarity Package get their core compliance calendar managed as part of that arrangement. This service exists for the filings and events that sit outside that regular rhythm, an incorporation, a strike-off, a registration for a new tax, or for clients who want this handled on its own without the full package. Either way, it works the same. Accountability sits with me. Deadlines get owned, not chased, which is one of the five principles I work by (more on that on my method page).
